The AT-LPW30BK is a fully manual, belt-drive turntable designed to give you optimal high-fidelity audio reproduction from vinyl. The two-speed (33-1/3 and 45 RPM) turntable features an aesthetically pleasing anti-resonance MDF (medium density fiberboard) plinth with simulated black wood veneer to limit low-frequency acoustical feedback.
The turntable includes a straight aluminum tonearm with adjustable tracking force and an AT-HS4 universal ½"-mount headshell with an AT-VM95C Dual Moving Magnet phono cartridge. Audio-Technica has been a leader in phono cartridge design for more than 60 years, and that expertise shows in the versatile, high-performance AT-VM95C cartridge, which comes with a 0.6 mil conical stylus, but is also compatible with any VM95 Series replacement stylus, offering a wide choice of options for every budget and application.
The AT-LPW30BK is equipped with a built-in selectable phono preamp and a detachable dual RCA output cable to enable direct connection to components with or without a dedicated phono input.
Sleek and Sophisticated Wooden Turntable
Featuring a plinth made from simulated teak veneer, the mid-century design of the LPW30BK makes it a perfect aesthetic addition to your home. The realistic wooden finish contrasts against the aluminium of the straight tonearm and professional anti-resonance, die-cast platter, for a striking and stylish design.
With a built-in, selectable phono preamplifier, you can plug in and play without the need for extra equipment. Simply connect your LPW30BK turntable to your active home speakers using the detachable RCA audio cable provided (the red jack is for the right (R) channel and the white for the left (L) channel) and enjoy your vinyl in crystal clear high-fidelity audio.
High-Fidelity Audio Meets Aesthetics
This fully-manual turntable combines sleek design with expertly engineered components. This includes the dynamic anti-skate control which can be adjusted to optimise channel balance, minimise feedback and distortion, allowing you to take control of your listening experience. While the sensor monitored motor delivers accurate platter rotation for high-fidelity sound.
The ideal companion for your record collection, the LPW30BK features two speeds for 33 1/3 and 45 RPM records, so you can spend hours sifting through and playing your favourite vinyl. To get started, set the adjustable tracking force and balance the tonearm — this will minimise distortion and deliver maximum performance — and get ready to experience warm, rich audio reproduction without fuss.
Over Half a Century of Analog Expertise
The LPW30BK belt-drive turntable was designed with over 55 years of Japanese audio innovation. The aluminium tonearm features our versatile AT-VM95C cartridge and diamond-tipped 0.6mil conical stylus, which precisely tracks the grooves of your vinyl for rich, authentic sound. While the hydraulically damped control lift protects the needle and ensures smooth movement.
Whether you’re new to the world of vinyl or something of an audiophile, you can alter and upgrade your turntable as you expand your record collection. Fitted with a universal AT-HS4 ½”-mount headshell, you can customise your LPW30BK turntable with any of our VM95C Series cartridges, from the entry-level AT-VMN95EBK to the beholden AT-VM95SH.
